Directors Chair 4-26-2010 Another season complete - I mean leagues, tournaments...Everything! It just doesn't seem possible. Most of the awards parties are even done. We still have more awards parties to do though. What's next? Well, you know what's next! It's Summer Leagues!!! I hear the same thing from some league players every spring, "I don't have time to play summer leagues because there's too much going on." I think you can give up a couple of hours one night to stay sharp. I do. When the regular seasons starts this fall, I want you to pay attention. The people who didn't play summer leagues will complain about being so rusty, while the players that stayed sharp by playing summer leagues don't make excuses. They don't have to. In summer league darts we offer Mixed Team 501 with a great Summerfest Mixed 501 tournament at the end. We also offer Cricket, Combo or whatever you'd like. In summer league pool we offer Mixed Team Scotch Doubles, 3 person 9-ball or again, whatever you prefer. Come to your awards party and hear more about summer leagues and pick up an entry form. Fill it out, send it back and we'll take it from there. Summer leagues will last about eight to ten weeks, DO IT, you'll be glad you did. Have a nice summer! Dan
